Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven corporate lawyer who is keen to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing company focused on building Ebury's brand. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice to key stakeholders in the United Kingdom and overseas, and be pivotal to Ebury's development on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with structuring and executing strategic initiatives, such as fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and transfers of significant equity stakes in Ebury Group companies.
- Advise on corporate structuring matters, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel, and Legal Director to maintain and develop Ebury's corporate structure given its global footprint in an efficient manner, having regard to regulatory, tax, and other relevant matters.
- Manage communications with investors, respond to shareholder queries, and support General Counsel and Company Secretary to uphold best-in-class governance standards across the Ebury Group.
- Review commercial agreements and update/develop client terms and conditions and templates.
- Work with the front office, corporate development, product, and other departments to resolve day-to-day queries.
- Represent Ebury in interactions with clients, counterparties, banking partners, industry bodies, and other third parties.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and expansion into new markets.
- Prepare playbooks, procedures, and self-service material, and participate in the provision of relevant training and awareness programs.
