About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in driving the transformation of society and industry towards a more productive and sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of technical requirements and specifications to ensure system development meets identified needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system validation and implementation meet security standards and timelines.
  • Lead the execution of system start-up, ensuring correct implementation at client facilities within expected timeframes and budgets.
  • Develop and deliver work plans, risk assessments, and safety management strategies to minimize occupational risks and eliminate accidents.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project managers and lead engineers in client reviews, discussions, and issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Vocational Training in Automatic Regulation and Control Systems or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer commissioning activities and incident resolution, preferably with international assistance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including PLC programming under IEC61131 and structured text (ST).
  • Professional competence in general and technical English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong focus on safe work practices and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.
  • High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • Collaborative approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
