Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Gruppe. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing and executing complex test cases, collaborating with product definition teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in feature teams and contribute to the definition of new features and functions by providing expert knowledge and ensuring clarity and testability of requirements and user stories.
- Elaborate and define acceptance criteria with stakeholders to ensure alignment and decision-making for verification results.
- Create, maintain, and review complex software test cases across all lifecycle phases, considering customer workflows.
- Plan, execute, and document test cases, including defect reporting and root cause analysis support.
- Provide technical leadership and knowledge sharing to less experienced team members in the area of expertise.
- Support test management to ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables according to the project plan.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar position with profound knowledge of verification and validation processes and methods, ideally in the regulated IVD environment.
- Master's degree (MSc) or Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a relevant technical or biomedical field, such as informatics, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related discipline.
- Ability to contribute to team collaboration, inclusion, and sharing ideas, with good team spirit and mutual trust and respect.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent education.
- Advanced knowledge of test management tools.
