About the Role

Nordex Group is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our SCADA/IIoT software development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing our IIoT-based SCADA solution using Angular in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop high-quality frontend components and features for our SCADA/IIoT solution.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration with backend services.
  3. Perform code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
  4. Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of our software.
  5. Support the build automation process using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  6. Create and maintain software documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  7. Work in an agile environment with a scrum team in an international setting.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Media Informatics, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in developing web applications with Angular 8+ and related architectures.
  3. Strong understanding of Responsive Web Design and microservices.
  4. Experience in programming REST APIs and familiarity with Selenium and DevOps technologies.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong initiative.
  6. Proficiency in English and knowledge of Spanish and/or German is an asset.
  7. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  8. Ability to travel for work.
