Overview
Zoi is a leading provider of digital transformation solutions for enterprises. We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team in Stuttgart, Berlin, Lissabon, Barcelona, Figueres, Sevilla, Las Palmas, and Bukarest.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate large system landscapes from on-premise to the cloud and ensure a stable and secure operation.
- Understand IT Service Management (ITSM) in large organizations and have experience with Change and Incident management.
- Have a solid understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Have practical experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python or PowerShell.
- Ensure security is the top priority and have experience with security procedures and protocols.
- Have at least three years of experience in managing Windows or Linux environments.
- Remain calm and composed in critical situations and provide professional support for troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least three years of practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Windows:
- Administration and configuration of the Windows Server operating system.
- Enterprise management of Windows with SCCM, WDS, WSUS, or similar tools.
- Basic licensing of Microsoft solutions.
- Linux:
- Administration and configuration of at least one Enterprise Linux distribution, such as RedHat or SUSE.
- Management of Enterprise Linux with Ansible, RedHat Satellite, or similar tools.
- At least three years of experience in one of the following specialization areas:
- Virtualization:
- Administration and configuration of one or more virtualization platforms, such as VMware, HyperV, or similar.
- Understanding of virtual machine formats, such as ovf or vmx.
- Enterprise virtualization tools for backup and recovery, monitoring, etc.
- Databases:
- Administration and configuration of enterprise database products, such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle DB2.
- Database tools for backup and recovery, monitoring, etc.
- Storage:
- Administration and configuration of storage solutions, such as Windows DFS, NetApp OnTap, Nutanix, or similar.
- Good knowledge of underlying concepts, such as RAIDs and protocols like NFS or SMB.
- Governance:
- Integration of enterprise IT solutions into regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, BAIT.
- Documentation of required specifications and coordination with relevant departments.
Personal Qualities
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers, as well as team members.
- Self-organization and competent management of projects are second nature.
- Cloud experience is beneficial but not mandatory; we offer an excellent training program to get you up to speed.
- Organized working style includes creating and maintaining technical documentation and handbooks.
- Excellent German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
