We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD student to join our Neuroimmunology Group at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on a human in-vitro model to investigate the pathophysiology of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein associated disorder.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain human in-vitro cultures of oligodendrocytes and neurons
- Purify human serum antibodies
- Manage flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry
- Work with cytokines platforms (ELISA, ELLA system, etc.)
- Write conference abstracts and scientific papers
- Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent graduate degree in health sciences (biomedicine, pharmacy, biochemistry, medicine, or biology)
- Fluency in English
- Experience in laboratory research and Microsoft Office Suite
- Statistics knowledge and use of statistical software packages
