The FPI-ICIQ 2024 Call is a prestigious opportunity for exceptional graduate students to support their enrollment in a training and research program in the field of chemistry. This program is designed to foster the development of highly qualified researchers who can contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
Key Objectives- To provide exceptional graduate students with the opportunity to conduct research under the direction of internationally renowned Group Leaders in a creative and stimulating scientific environment.
- To offer a comprehensive training program in both technical and soft skills, ensuring a successful career in academia or industry.
- To provide opportunities for short stays in distinguished international research institutions, enhancing the students' research experience and networking capabilities.
Candidates should have an excellent academic record, a strong commitment to scientific research, and a solid working knowledge of English. The program is addressed to highly qualified, motivated, and talented graduate students with a keen interest in research in Chemistry or adjacent areas.
Selection ProcessThe process of evaluation and selection guarantees the principles of competition, publicity, and transparency. Admission to the program is on a competitive basis. Only one application per person will be considered.
Available PositionsThere are three available positions in the following research projects:
- Project 1: Molecular clefts, cavitands, and cages derived from calix[4]pyrroles: synthesis and studies of their applications (mocacube)
- Project 2: Advancing Metal-Assisted Transformations of Functionalized Heterocycles into Novel Stereodefined Scaffolds (AVANT-GARDE)
- Project 3: Expanding the chemical space of cobalt synthetic and mechanistic tactics: From Fundamentals to Catalysis (COMET)
