We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of hourly workforce in Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S.L.U. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fulfillment center, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce to achieve business objectives
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applicable to sites with stairs)
- Experience in managing Operations and leading teams of at least 50 people
- Obtained or working towards a Bachelor's Degree
- Flexible to relocate for the position if needed
- Willing to work in non-traditional shift patterns, including nights and weekends
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Previous work experience in a similar role
