Production Manager

Mcr International is seeking a highly skilled Production/Manufacturing Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility in Valencia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of pharmaceutical products while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and company quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all manufacturing activities to ensure timely production and delivery of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure manufacturing operations adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) department to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures and protocols throughout the production process.
- Lead, manage, and develop the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs.
- Ensure staff are trained and competent in all relevant processes and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing projects.
- Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and supplies.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP) are preferred.
