About the Role

The Digital Marketing Director will play a crucial role in driving the global marketing strategy for Mondly by Pearson, a leading language-learning app. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness across all digital channels.
  • Manage the annual global marketing budget, forecast future results, and track spending to ensure optimal ROI.
  • Lead a global digital marketing unit with 3 teams, building a winning team that unites and grows the total portfolio with the capabilities needed to succeed.
  • Provide inspirational leadership, direction, guidance, and training to the team, fostering a collaborative, customer-centric, data-driven culture.
  • Monitor competitor activity and plans, responding accordingly to balance customer expectations and company goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and executing high-performing digital marketing strategies across channels like web, social media, PPC, search, retargeting, and others.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a global team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business results through data-driven insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
