Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations and maintenance of our data centers, ensuring 100% availability of mechanical and electrical services.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the build out of facility-specific infrastructure in existing locations.
- Manage a team of engineers responsible for the onsite management of shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with Amazon practices and procedures.
- Conduct financial analysis and contribute to financial decisions.
- Negotiate and roll out contracts and define and audit SLAs.
- Participate in recruiting efforts and continually raise the bar at hiring.
- Conduct Project Management for multiple sites.
- Draw from a deep group or department level understanding to make business decisions.
- Use business knowledge to set priorities and develop project plans.
- Data Center Engineering Management Experience.
- People Management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree (Grado - Licenciatura) or Technical Degree and relevant experience.
