Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing IoT Digital Engineering team as a Technical Lead and Software Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the Vodafone IoT Digital customer experience through portal and website development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Build high-quality, well-tested software using modern software development and deployment methodologies.
- Technology Selection: Select the most appropriate technologies aligning with the wider IoT Digital team to promote a culture of re-use across our Digital solutions.
- Collaboration: Work with product teams and UX design to understand and define deliverable requirements to meet customer experience expectations and timescales.
- Technical Improvement: Define technical improvement areas and drive software implementations with the best-suited technologies and optimizing cost.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize the solution.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer in website development.
- Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proven experience in modern software development and deployment.
- Strong experience of React.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML 5.
Bonus Points:
- Proven software development experience with microservices on cloud hyperscales (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Proven experience of unit and integration testing frameworks.
- Experience with web service technologies (REST, JSON, XML).
