We are seeking a highly skilled AOG Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Volotea, the airline of small and mid-sized cities in Europe. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process AOG and urgent material requests from our Maintenance Control Center and Logistics Department.
- Coordinate with our MCC and Logistics team to determine the exact details of the material requested and ensure proper handling.
- Ensure proper handling of AOG shipments from pickup to delivery and maintain continuous information flow between the shipper, consignee, vendor, and forwarder.
- Check our inventory system to determine availability and locations of parts, tooling, and materials.
- Determine the best location to acquire needed items based on availability of shipping methods.
- Organize and coordinate shipments between our stations.
- Ensure paperwork from the shipment is processed properly and timely.
- Determine the best solution to ensure parts are delivered at the required location at the required time.
- Contact appropriate company drivers, contract couriers, or shipping services to arrange shipments.
Requirements:
- Experience in interacting with different cultural environments.
- Ability to work in a challenging high-growth atmosphere.
- Skilled, positive, assertive, and sociable individual who enjoys working as part of a multicultural team.
