The Business Performance Management team within the Finance division is tasked with overseeing the Budgeting and Controlling of Sales, Construction, and Service operations, ensuring adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Vestas Financial Guidelines, and relevant statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee precision and accountability in preliminary calculations, reducing discrepancies between initial and final calculations.
- Oversee the controlling of Sales activities in accordance with the sales approval framework and Project Controlling protocols, which include monthly project evaluations, margin analysis, cash flow oversight, gap assessments, and budgetary governance.
- Ensure the highest quality of data in systems to support reliable budgeting and forecasting.
- Facilitate month-end closing activities for the Construction business unit, ensuring timely and precise financial statement completion.
- Assist in the monthly internal reporting processes and controls.
- Engage in budgeting, controlling, and financial processes in line with Vestas Standard Operating Procedures while ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Support both external and internal audit activities.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical capabilities and a problem-solving mindset.
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience in finance, particularly within an international organization.
- Solid understanding of accounting, controlling, and budgeting practices.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Windows Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Familiarity with SAP/BI and ERP systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and work independently under tight deadlines.
