Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Senior Analyst to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our Group Audit organization, you will be responsible for providing advanced analytics solutions to support risk management and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide analytics solutions to auditors to identify potential risk, anomalies, and weaknesses in control activities.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau to effectively convey meaningful insights and track key metrics.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, including Senior Management, to support informed decision-making processes.
- Collaborate closely with auditors, data owners, and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Proactively identify automation opportunities and develop solutions to simplify audit processes and improve efficiency.
- Drive innovation across Group Audit, leveraging experience gained and data collected from successful data analytics projects.
- Promote the adoption and integration of data science into the Group Audit organization and inspire colleagues to adopt data-driven approaches.
- Apply the highest quality standards to ensure solutions meet the needs of audit execution processes.
- Support upskilling of auditors to gain competencies in data analytics methods and transform Group Audit into a data-driven function.
Requirements:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk management and compliance, with a focus on data analytics and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, as well as proficiency in reporting and visualization using Tableau.
- Hands-on experience in ETL and data warehouse, Hadoop, Hive/Impala, and familiarity with GCP services and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
