Job Title: Continuing Education Instructor - Health Professions Corporate Training

Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking a qualified Continuing Education Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will teach noncredit courses in their area of expertise, developing course materials and delivering instruction to adult learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach assigned noncredit classes in areas of expertise
  • Develop course materials and deliver instruction to adult learners
  • Complete and submit timely grade reports, absence reports, and other specific reports as required by the College
  • Assist students as appropriate
Requirements:
  • Appropriate state certification to area of expertise, where applicable
  • American Heart Association Instructor certifications
  • Demonstrated academic and/or professional expertise in corresponding field
  • Prior experience teaching adult learners
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline
