We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Systems Security Engineer to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space in Spain. As a key member of our Product Security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our products and services throughout their entire lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement product security requirements to ensure the protection of our products against cybersecurity threats.
- Collaborate with design offices and suppliers to design secure systems architectures.
- Participate in security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures.
- Provide support to avionics civil and military systems, including communications, surveillance, navigation, and environmental control systems.
- Work with the Airworthiness Certification team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development of security policies and processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- At least an initial participation in practices (as working student) in Information Security and/or Aircraft Systems design and development and/or Aircraft Safety.
- Advanced level of English.
- Good command of French or German is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of EUROCAE regulation focused on Airworthiness Security Process (ED-202A, ED-203A, and ED-204).
- Knowledge of Security Risk Assessment methodologies (MAGERIT, NYST, etc.).
- Knowledge of hardening.
- Knowledge of NATO/National security regulations.
- Knowledge of Security Evaluation, Certification, and Accreditation Processes.
- IT Security Professional certification is highly desired (CISSP, SANS/GIAC, or equivalent).
