About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hostess to join our team at MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE in Barcelona. As a Hostess, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests with a warm smile and escort them to their assigned dining or bar area.
  • Menu Presentation: Provide menus and explain the concept to our guests, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our offerings.
  • Waiting List Management: Monitor waiting lists and provide accurate information to guests regarding wait times.
  • Guest Support: Cater to guests who require extra attention, such as children or elderly individuals, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls and address guests' queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist waiter staff as needed to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous work experience as a hostess or in a similar role is required.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills in person, in writing, and in speaking are essential.
  • Availability: Availability to work in shifts as needed, including nights and weekends.
  • Physical Condition: Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
