Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment. This role will involve developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and quality, to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our business.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety programs and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including OSHA and AS9100.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Experience with safety management software and systems.
