Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated Partner Solutions Architect who is enthusiastic about assisting our partners in constructing scalable infrastructures and applications.

Our solutions architects are aspiring technologists possessing both technical breadth and depth, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is tasked with driving revenue, adoption, and growth across a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to large enterprise clients, including those in the public sector.

The AWS Global Support team collaborates with leading organizations, recognizing that outstanding support is vital for customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global clientele that is developing mission-critical applications utilizing AWS services.

As a Solutions Architect within SMGS, you will engage directly with some of our most rapidly expanding partners to mitigate risks and foster innovation through technical evaluations, speaking engagements, and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate partner success in designing, constructing, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Lead architectural discussions and design sessions to develop world-class solutions on AWS, ensuring that these solutions are optimized for successful cloud deployment.
  • Act as an AWS advocate, educating customers of all sizes on the advantages of AWS.
  • Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications, including whitepapers, blogs, and proof of concepts.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior technical personnel both internally and externally to empower them as cloud advocates.
  • Capture and disseminate best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community.

A Day in the Life:

In this role, you will represent the voice of both the partner and the customer. This principle is essential for ensuring that the appropriate services are utilized while developing safe, durable, and relevant solutions for customers.

We collaborate with a diverse array of partners tackling intriguing challenges. This position requires you to delve into a partner's solution, continuously learn about our services, and understand how partners leverage our solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and coding skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
  • Professional experience in architecting and operating solutions on AWS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in software development or internet-related industries.
  • Experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
