Electrical Design Engineer for Power Transformers: A Challenging Role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for Power Transformers to join our team at Hitachi Energy Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing power transformers that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: You will be responsible for designing and developing power transformers that meet the requirements of our customers. This will involve working with our sales team to understand customer needs and developing technical specifications and reports.
- Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with our sales, project management, procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution. You will also provide technical support to our sales department during the negotiation phase and conduct design reviews after the order is acquired.
- Technical Expertise: You will have access to advanced simulation tools and will use them to solve technical challenges in areas such as dielectric, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical design.
- Documentation and Reporting: You will be responsible for preparing engineering documents, such as technical specifications and reports, based on established formats and instructions.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation: You will participate in the resolution of technical problems and will be encouraged to propose improvements to our products, processes, and tools.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer for Power Transformers who possesses the following qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering: You must have a Master's degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or engineering physics.
- Professional Experience: You should have around 2 years of professional experience working with transformers.
- Language Skills: You must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team Player: You must be a strong team player.
- Technical Skills: You should have strong PC knowledge and capability in 3D modeling packages.
