Job Summary
Sinclair is seeking a highly experienced Hardware Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our electronic development team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electronic hardware for medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design control processes, risk management, and design for manufacturability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of hardware design principles, including analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and signal integrity.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electronic, telecommunications, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in electronic development, with a proven track record of successful projects in the medical device industry.
- Advanced degree in electronic, telecommunications, or a related field (desirable).
- 2 years of experience in an electronic development leadership role (desirable).
Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of hardware design principles, including analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and signal integrity.
- Experience with medical device regulations and standards, such as FDA QSR, ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and IEC 62304.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and compliance.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
