Ebury, a leading FinTech firm, is seeking an experienced Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing highly scalable and reliable systems, leveraging advanced cloud technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement architectural strategies that align with business objectives and drive technical excellence.
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable and reliable systems, leveraging advanced cloud technologies and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimisation and efficiency enhancement within the platform infrastructure.
- Act as a proactive problem solver, investigating and resolving complex system issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Champion the adoption of industry-leading practices and technologies, staying up-to-date with emerging trends in the field.
- Extensive experience in building and deploying large-scale distributed systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of architectural principles and scalability considerations.
- Proven expertise in cloud architecture and application deployment patterns, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing highly available and resilient systems on platforms like GCP or AWS.
- Strong programming skills and proficiency in multiple programming languages, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and guide junior engineers and influence technical decisions across teams.
