About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Developer to join our cross-functional team at TUI. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS services and cloud design patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications using AWS services and cloud design patterns.
- Collaborate with the team to own the software products from conception to operation, ensuring a high degree of automation, clean architectures, and high quality.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the AWS toolbox, leveraging AWS services and cloud design patterns in a micro-service landscape.
- Contribute to increasing automation and efficiency in the software development process.
- Work closely with the domain's Practice teams and the Group Enabler teams to research, evaluate, and test new approaches, processes, and tools.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a completed technical degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics) or a comparable qualification, and experience in the further development of products and services, as well as in the implementation of customer requirements.
You will have very good knowledge of.Net C# as well as relevant frameworks and concepts, such as.Net and Core, REST, MVC, and Microservices. You will also have good knowledge of MS SQL and MySQL databases, and be confident in using Visual Studio and NUnit & Mocking frameworks (e.g. Moq).
You will be familiar with Agile software development and DevOps, and have worked with these before. You will be a team player and love to find solutions for complex problems in a joint fashion.
