Cyber Security Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at YanTech Associates. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' networks and systems from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consulting and advisory services to clients on advanced networking, routing, and switching.
  • Develop and implement security management strategies, including configuring firewalls, managing interfaces, and analyzing traffic.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to provide timely and effective support to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and best practices, including Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Cisco Firepower firewalls.
  • Hold certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Dell.
  • Familiarity with CISCO Call Manager, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, Wasabi, and other relevant technologies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security with a strong background in advanced networking and security management.
  • Expertise in operating systems and virtualization.
  • Proficient in data services management, including Internet access, VPNs, SD-WAN, and WiFi.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
