We are a vibrant and fast-growing gaming studio with a passion for building fun and relaxing games that last. Our mission is to bring together a team of experts who love what they do, and we're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team.
About the RoleAs a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for owning our company's data science strategy and helping to acquire, understand, segment, predict, and retain our players. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and tech teams to provide the structure and tools to elevate their work and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced data models and algorithms to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights to harness business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their KPIs and modeling requirements, drive implementation, and support their data-driven decision making.
- Build and maintain predictive models for revenue/profit forecasting, player behavior, game balancing, and other key areas.
- Develop clear and concise data visualizations and reports for various stakeholders to effectively communicate key findings and recommendations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, helping them grow professionally and contribute to the success of the team.
- 5+ years of experience in data science in mobile gaming (Android & iOS), with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data modeling systems.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Datastudio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Ability to understand business needs across multiple teams and execute to achieve their targets.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights.
- A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry and player behavior.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
