About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workplace Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, you will play a critical role in driving improvements in safety and efficiency across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of health and safety professionals to ensure compliance with local regulations and Amazon's safety standards.
  • Analyze data reports and root causes to provide leadership with the information needed to make informed safety-related decisions.
  • Develop and implement health and safety projects and policies to drive a culture of safety and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with other teams across the company to drive improvements in safety and efficiency.
About the Team

Amazon's ATS team is a diverse and dynamic group of professionals who play a critical role in our success. We use air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, to ensure that our packages are delivered quickly, conveniently, and sustainably.

Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and qualification in Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (including specializations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía Psicosociología aplicada) following Spanish Health and Safety regulations.
  • Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
