Senior Mechanical Engineer

ATS Automation is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to enhance our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the mechanical components of projects
• Execute mechanical design tasks
• Collaborate effectively with various departments
• Ensure project goals are met through:
- Strategic planning
- Accurate part manufacturing
- Timely delivery of components for assembly
- Assembly oversight
- Incident resolution
• Adhere to established protocols and standards
Primary Duties:
• Generate and maintain project documentation
- Project planning
- Technical specifications
- Checklist for critical dates
- Project evaluations
- Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
- User Requirement Specifications (URS) for technical purchases
• Conduct mechanical design activities
• Facilitate interdepartmental coordination for projects
- Procurement
- Project management
- Electrical and programming teams
- Production
• Guide mechanical support engineers in task execution
• Assist in the development of operational protocols
• Conduct technical assessments of machinery
• Perform comparative analyses of different machinery options
• Develop machine layouts and oversee implementation
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in 3D design software (Solid Edge ST10)
• Strong decision-making capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Familiarity with office software (MS Project)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Proficient in English at a B2 level
• Excellent team management skills
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machinery packaging design, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector
