Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Region Services organization and drive large-scale global projects and initiatives.

The TPM will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams focused on delivering new workflow features and tools that enhance productivity, open capacity at a faster rate, and secure devices to AWS standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor, train, and develop career progression for indirect reports and members of the organization.
  • Develop, improve, and share operational best practices across the region and with peers globally.
  • Gather business requirements, document functional and design specifications, and define User Acceptance Criteria for testing software.
  • Contribute with cross-functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, and anticipate and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Present to Sr. Leadership on a regular basis, demonstrating the ability to synthesize problems and solutions into a simple and consumable manner.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmaps, using Agile and incremental delivery methods.

This position requires the ability to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance.
