Senior Load Calculation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled senior engineer to support our load calculation efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to ensure optimal service throughout the lifespan of our wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct root cause analysis for field issues and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Perform load calculations for site-specific conditions and document results.
- Support certification and claims-related tasks, and optimize controller functions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop wind turbine components.
- Develop and improve toolchain and methodologies based on field feedback.
- M.Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Physics with specialization in dynamics and simulation.
- 5 years of experience in similar roles or functions.
- Knowledge of recognized standards such as IEC 61400 and DIBt.
- Professional experience with aerodynamic simulation tools such as Bladed, Alaska, HawcStab, Flex5.
- Strong understanding of dynamic simulations and fatigue analysis methodologies.
- Optional: additional skills in general analysis software, structural mechanics, and tower structural calculation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and dynamism in task execution.
- Fluent English; ideally skills in German or Spanish.
