We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing technical infrastructure and communications services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation: Collaborate with other L3 Infrastructure engineers on project tasks for new platforms/solutions/locations, improvement of existing ones and/or architectural modifications, as well as advanced troubleshooting of complex incidents.
- Technology Evaluation: Work in collaboration with manufacturers, evaluating new technologies (PoCs).
- Technical Expertise: Act as a technical reference in your area of expertise.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical Background: Technical or Higher Degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience of at least 8 years in support and design functions of communication networks and infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud.
- Advanced Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of architecture and design of complex TCP/IP networks, LAN, Campus, WAN, WIFI (Aruba, Extreme), SDWAN (SilverPeak, Aruba, Meraki), multi-vendor routing/switching (Cisco, Arista), software-defined networking (SDN) solutions, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc).
- Specialized Skills: Demonstrable experience and knowledge in the design and management of networks and services with Aruba Central, and access control with Aruba Clearpass.
- Additional Skills: Experience with WIFI network design and optimization tools (Ekahau) is valued. Knowledge in project management and agile methodologies (Scrum) and DevOps methodology. Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python), automation (Ansible, Terraform).
- Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in related technologies such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Expert, AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Associate, Aruba Product Specialist Central (APSC), Engineering Cisco Meraki Solutions (ECMS1 & ECMS2), Ekahau ECSE Design, CCNP, and advanced technical certifications such as CCIE.
- Soft Skills: Teamwork, communication and negotiation skills with clients and suppliers, technical writing skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to work under pressure and with great responsibility (managing critical infrastructure), proactive, with low supervision needs, self-sufficient.
