As a Lead Statistical SAS Programmer at Fortrea, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex oncology projects for a renowned pharmaceutical company. With a strong background in statistical programming and a passion for oncology clinical trials, you will oversee the planning, execution, and oversight of programming activities on a study, ensuring high-quality outputs and meeting timelines.
Main Responsibilities- Plan and execute programming activities on a study, including resource estimation, budget management, and quality control.
- Oversee the development of SDTM, ADaM, and TLF, performing senior reviews of outputs.
- Liaise with sponsor departments for additional programming needs, supporting publications, medical writing, and additional development needs.
- Ensure efficient submission activities, particularly in late-phase teams.
- Mentor less-experienced team members in best practices around SDTMs, ADaMs, and TFLs.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, life sciences, statistics, or computer sciences.
- Professional experience in statistical programming within clinical trials, preferably in oncology.
- Lead experience in oncology trials, with a strong understanding of CDISC requirements and submission standards.
- Expert knowledge of base SAS, SAS macros, and debugging SAS programs.
- Autonomous, collaborative work style, with a keen attention to detail and fluency in English.
