Job Title: Senior Systems Engineering Manager

Location: Global

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineering Manager to lead our team of Specialized Systems Engineers in delivering enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop strategic plans to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of Specialized Systems Engineers to support Business Development Managers, Sales Engineers, and Account Teams.
  • Work with Business Development Managers to define vertical strategies and align resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Create tools, processes, and materials to generate new pipeline opportunities across all verticals.
  • Compare competitive solutions with Fortinet's offerings and develop positioning communications.
  • Address future market demands and high-growth potential areas.
  • Understand client challenges and develop solutions to address them.
  • Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers on features, specifications, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Business Development Managers, and Account Managers to maximize business focus and quality.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners.
  • Travel within assigned territories is required.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineering manager.
  • Deep knowledge of industry cyber security market trends, including Mesh, SASE, and ZTNA.
  • Ability to map cyber security solutions to customer business requirements.
  • Strong combination of management, technical, and business skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills to C-Level and individual contributors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Good network of Enterprise C-level contacts in the region.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker with the ability to move complex projects through the selling cycle.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry, MBA preferred.
