About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical DevOps Engineer to join our Learning Platforms team at Qlik. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cloud learning environment, ensuring seamless delivery of on-demand learning experiences to our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a best-in-class On-Demand Learning Platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a unique AI-assisted learning experience
  • Develop robust CI/CD solutions for our SaaS product in an AWS environment
  • Maintain a 'production-like' environment for service development and QA teams
  • Collaborate with development and SRE teams to provide stable deployment solutions
  • Solve production problems efficiently and professionally

Requirements

  • Strong technical resource with a background in Business Intelligence
  • Proficient in Qlik Talend Cloud, Qlik Sense, and QlikView
  • Knowledgeable and hands-on experience with a range of Business Intelligence tools
  • Knowledgeable of course development and lab tools such as Evolve and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experienced in writing and editing training course materials, white papers, presentations, and analysis documents
  • Experienced in developing video scripts and storyboards
  • Experienced in developing micro-learning resources for short just-in-time learning experiences
  • Detail-oriented and consistent
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn and keep updated on relevant technology changes
  • Able to multi-task and execute in short and/or compressed timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • GCP skills and experience with CloudRun, Compute Engine, GCP API
  • GCP networking skills including VPC network and load-balancing
  • Deep knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes containerization and deployment
  • Scripting and programming experience with JavaScript, React, PHP, Terraform
  • Experience with process automation and scripting
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Worked in a global company with diverse cultures
