Data Engineer

Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data marts and ETL processes using Talend and other ETL tools.
  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence reports using Jasper Reports, PowerBI, and SplashBI.
  • Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and software engineers on data engineering initiatives and projects.
  • Assess requirements and specifications for BI software development, considering current and future functionalities.
  • Participate in on-call support during non-business hours to ensure seamless operation of production ETL processes.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of experience in Talend Data Integration and other ETL tools.
  • Data Warehousing experience.
  • SQL and relational database experience, including design principles.
  • Shell and Python scripting experience.
  • 2+ years of Java programming language proficiency.
  • Analytic Reporting tool experience.
  • Familiarity with software development and ETL best practices.
  • Strong data analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective collaboration with engineering and business users.
