The Procurement and Sourcing Expert at Manila Electric Company (Meralco) is responsible for executing procurement functions aligned with company guidelines, policies, and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement category plans and strategies to meet project timelines and objectives.
• Manage contract creation, execution, and analysis to optimize financial and operational performance while minimizing risks.
• Coordinate the bidding process, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and offer review, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Oversee contract and vendor management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for supply chain improvement and process optimization.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical Engineer.
• At least two years of experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to visualize and articulate complex solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a high sense of integrity and good moral character.
• Able to travel when necessary.
