We are currently looking for a suitable, motivated, and team-oriented professional for the position of Head of Technology Audit.

The Role:

The Head of Technology Audit is a critical role within Technology Assurance & Information Security, responsible for leading teams and overseeing the Apex Group's Technology Audit Programs. The role reports to the Group Head of Technology Assurance and the Global Chief Information Security Officer (GCISO).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the global Technology annual Audit program, including delivering process enhancements and improvements to Technology Audit operations.
  2. Collaborate with external providers and internal teams across Technology in executing Technology Audit requirements.
  3. Deliver report consolidation and establish a consistent, unified approach to evidence collation and submission for various reports, including SOC 1 & 2.
  4. Prepare the organization for SOx compliance.
  5. Provide robust challenge to findings with a view to determining any potential deficiencies and building effective remediation plans with teams across the Technology organization.
  6. Manage all external client requests for Apex Technology, including interfacing directly with major global clients.
  7. Respond effectively to any regulatory requests for Apex Technology.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree preferable.
  2. In-depth experience operating and leading Technology teams in a large multi-national organization.
  3. Detailed understanding of core Technology Governance principles and Audit requirements.
  4. Leadership skills in complex, fast-paced business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple teams in various locations and time zones.
  5. Experience working on projects in the financial services industry would be an advantage.
  6. Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in a wide range of Technology disciplines.
  7. Passion for leading teams and implementing change.
  8. Strong negotiation and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.
  9. High communication skills required at all levels. Must be able to interact with senior leadership. Excellent command of verbal and written communication (English). Effective presentation style for all levels of stakeholders.
  10. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, issue analysis, and resolution skills.
  11. Highly organized.
  12. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with internal clients.
  13. Ability to work well in a multicultural global work environment.
  14. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients.
  15. Must be highly motivated.
