Digital Design Manager for High-Speed RISC-V Processor Development

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Design Manager to spearhead our team in charge of designing a high-speed digital design for a RISC-V based processor. This role involves leading a world-class ASIC work on advanced process technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Module Development: The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and assisting in the development of key modules in a high-performance system for AI applications.
- Project Coordination: The Digital Design Manager will work closely with all parts of engineering to coordinate the execution of the project and the achievement of the product specifications, including Architecture, Verification, Physical Design, Post-Silicon Bring Up, and Program Management.
- Schedule Management: The team leader must accurately predict schedules and track the team's progress, utilizing available resources in an optimal manner.
- Team Supervision: The Digital Design Manager will supervise and train junior engineers based on relevant years of experience.
- Process Improvement: The team leader will participate in internal reviews to ensure adherence to the company's design processes and guidelines, and to improve those processes and guidelines.
- Talent Acquisition: The Digital Design Manager will participate in the capture of new talent to incorporate into the company according to the required skills.
- Education: MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years managing design teams experience, 15+ years ASIC design experience, and experience with RISC-V based systems or similar.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of main core processors sub-systems and concepts, pipelines, data and instruction caches, arithmetic units (fixed and floating-point), scoreboards, etc. Strong knowledge of ASIC and/or FPGA design methodology and proficiency in Verilog, front-end design, simulation, synthesis, timing, power analysis, and verification CAD tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, natural leading skills.
