About The Role

As a Sales Associate at Claire's, you will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with the achievement of retail store targets by driving sales and revenue growth.
  2. Delivering sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  3. Ensuring our customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and building customer loyalty.
  4. Demonstrating Claire's products and services, highlighting their features and benefits.
  5. Assisting customers with their queries using your product knowledge and expertise.
  6. Assisting with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions, ensuring the store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.
  7. Ear piercing (you will receive full training), providing a safe and professional service to our customers.
  8. Ensuring the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
About You
  1. Some high school education is required, with a focus on developing strong communication and organizational skills.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  3. Basic computer skills, with the ability to operate a point-of-sale system and other retail technology.
  4. Understands the importance of customer service, with a focus on providing a positive and memorable experience for our customers.
  5. Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling.
  6. Ability to stand during scheduled shifts, with the ability to move around the store and assist customers as needed.
  7. Ability to maneuver up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally, with the ability to lift and move merchandise as required.
  8. Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
  9. Ability to operate a point-of-sale system, with the ability to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling.
