We are seeking an experienced EHS & Risk Compliance Manager to join our team at Ardagh Group. As a key member of our sustainability and compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of environmental, health, and safety risks across our European operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems to ensure compliance with EU and national regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits and technical visits to ensure adherence to EHS standards.
  • Review and update EHS procedures to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Oversee compliance with permits and other relevant legal EHS requirements.
  • Supervise third-party compliance reviews and develop the legal register system.
  • Forecast new legislation and provide guidance on measures and controls.
  • Maintain systematic approaches to identify and respond to legal requirements.
  • Support communication and negotiation with authorities.
  • Provide compliance statements for external use.
  • Participate in major projects to support legal compliance and reduce impacts.
  • Supervise permit application processes and ensure correct input.
  • Review ARMS incident reports and engage with plants and offices.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level EHS reports and updates.
  • Ensure high data quality of relevant reporting systems.
Requirements
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering or Energy Engineering or equivalent.
  • Basic certification of Fire Prevention and/or Risk Prevention Management.
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written.
  • MS Office, Share Point, SAP, ARMS, EIS skills.
  • Leadership skills, including trust, communication, and influence.
