The Logistics Opportunity

European logistics companies turnover more than €1,300B annually, making logistics the fourth largest industry in Europe. Startups are only beginning to scratch the surface of the transformation made possible by applying software to business problems, and Beam is a part of this change.

The Role

We are looking for a technical engineer to join one of our pre-seed startups in revolutionizing fashion returns reverse logistics. As a technical co-founder (CT/PO) of REVEYZ you will champion the software's first version and build MVP, taking charge of product development, infrastructure, and tech-team dynamics.

The Solution

  • SaaS B2B solution for brands/retailers handling, rerouting and repurposing return garments.
  • AI-powered visual inspection tool/app with computer vision quality checks to detect anomalies in returned items hence optimising the reverse logistics and forecasting the best solution of repurposing.
  • End-to-end solution -> handling of brand's/ retailer's returns in collaboration with various partners: 4PLs, resale, rental, refurbishment, recycling.

Key Qualifications

  • Product development: Hands-on experience in developing tech products, particularly in the SaaS or e-commerce domain.
  • Ability to lead the development team through the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Generative AI-driven solutions and algorithms implementation: Strong technical background with experience in AI, machine learning,LLMs and computer vision technologies, data analytics and large-scale data processing.
  • Full-stack developer: Proven experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep expertise in React or Angular frameworks to craft responsive and user-centric interfaces. They should also possess strong skills in implementing visual elements and integrating APIs to enhance user interactions and streamline the front-end functionality of our innovative returns management platform.
  • React native: Familiarity in React Native for developing cross-platform mobile applications will be a great advantage as well.
  • API Integration: Proven experience in implementing and integrating diverse API solutions is essential. The ability to seamlessly merge user input data.
  • Collaborative Technologies: Familiarity with collaborative technologies that enable seamless teamwork and communication within a technical team. Ability to use data analytics and consumer insights to drive product innovation and effectiveness.
  • Experience with analytics tools and platforms that aid in product decision-making.Experience with version control systems, collaborative coding and no-code platforms, and project management tools.

You'll Be the Perfect Match If

  • You're an engineer who knows automation and can get your hands dirty.
  • You have an impressive track record of running your own startups or as a unit manager in a mid-size or larger company.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional leadership and communication skills as well as ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You want to be part of building something special - together with us - two commercial co-founders Anna and June.
  • Your Product Management skills are to be reckoned with and backed with an ability to bridge product and development.
  • You have prior knowledge & experience in the logistics / fashion-tech, and/or sustainability sector - This would be a welcome plus.
  • First funding experience is a plus as well.
