About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to join our team focused on developing IAP ROAS (Return On Advertising Spend) Machine Learning models that power our real-time bidder. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Data Scientists that drive maximum IAP ROAS for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Manage a team of Data Scientists to achieve business objectives and drive innovation in IAP ROAS optimization.
  2. Mentorship: Mentor team members to help them grow professionally and develop their skills in data science and machine learning.
  3. Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy predictive models at large scale that control real money.
  4. Data Analysis: Analyze millions of structured and unstructured data points to identify meaningful features/signals to improve model performance.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to build new features and infrastructure.
  6. Data Quality: Define, advocate, and maintain high standards for data quality.
  7. Best Practices: Develop best practices for data processing, experimentation, monitoring, debugging, and analyzing data pipelines.
Requirements
  1. Education: BS degree in Statistics, Math, Machine Learning, or Computer Science.
  2. Experience: 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a Data Science or Machine Learning role, with 2+ years of experience managing a Data Science team.
  3. Skills: Diverse exposure to many different Machine Learning and modeling techniques, ability to make progress independently, and a sound understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning principles.
