Engineering Operations Project Coordinator

Overview:
At ArcelorMittal, we are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our engineering division in anticipation of significant upcoming initiatives. These positions may be available for individuals with 2-3 years of mobility experience.
Key Responsibilities:
In the context of new investments, upgrades, or operational enhancements, you will oversee projects related to mechanical or electrical installations. This includes the initial project assessment, preparation of investment documentation, execution, and final commissioning.
- During the pre-project phase, you will spearhead the search for optimal technical solutions and contribute to the development of the associated investment documentation.
- In the study phase, you will manage both internal and external project studies conducted by specialized firms, ensuring adherence to current regulations.
- Collaborating with the procurement department, you will assist in selecting original equipment manufacturers and necessary suppliers.
- Throughout the execution phase, you will be accountable for planning and resource management, ensuring that all personnel comply with health and safety regulations.
- Finally, during the commissioning phase, you will provide support to operational teams, ensuring seamless operations.
Candidate Profile:
- With a background in engineering, you possess advanced technical expertise in mechanical or electrical disciplines, establishing yourself as a specialist in one of these areas.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing CAPEX projects within ArcelorMittal, coupled with strong technical knowledge and a solid understanding of project management methodologies (CIPM).
- Your ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and handle stress associated with project challenges positions you as a strong candidate for this role.
- A proficient level of professional English is essential.
- Familiarity with professional and technical Spanish is considered an advantage.
