Procurement Excellence Manager

The Procurement Center of Excellence Manager is a key role within the Procurement organization, responsible for driving strategic initiatives and fostering best practices across the globe.
This role is based in Vila-real, Spain, and supports the CoE Procurement Manager in driving key initiatives, helping to bring a future procurement vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement Excellence: Definition, implementation, and ownership of policies, processes, and conventions across the group in close collaboration with Procurement Technology & Digital enablers and other stakeholders.
- Category Knowledge: Responsible for specific deep category knowledge (category playbooks, methodologies, templates) for Directs & Indirects.
- Procurement Strategy: Coordination of the procurement strategy through a detailed yearly plan by category.
- Communication: Communication of the Procurement Strategy (globally and by category).
- Change Management: Supporting with change management, communication, cultural change, and organizational aspects.
- Compliance and Transparency: Reinforcing compliance and transparency, working alongside Internal Audit to reinforce P2P processes (e.g., contract compliance, 2-3-way-match, no PO no pay, P-cards, buying channels adoption, etc.).
- Contract Management: Supporting on contract management (from a content and process perspective), leveraging the technology team for the technical aspects.
- Procurement Training Academy: Management of the Procurement Training Academy, defining and executing the yearly training program for the procurement function.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Lead and coordinate initiatives about supplier relationship management, third-party risk management, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
- With 20-30% travel expected to international sites.
- Valuable MBA/Master in Business Analytics or linked to the procurement area.
- Progressive career track within procurement at an international company (ideally with worldwide operations) +5 years.
- Experience in sourcing & procurement transformation programs.
- Knowledge/experience of the industrial goods, chemical, and/or manufacturing industries preferable.
- Experience in a procurement practice of top consulting firms highly desirable.
- Exposure to managing multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
