We are seeking an experienced International Education Manager to promote our qualifications and educational resources in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating interest among key decision-makers, visiting schools and public institutions, and attending events and conferences to promote our specified lists and qualifications.
Your primary focus will be on managing relationships with the Ministry of Education in Spain and Portugal, as well as the Consejería de Educación in the different autonomic regions, to prospect new schools to implement our Cambridge International exams. You will also work closely with our recognition team to serve as a link between Cambridge and universities located in Iberia, supporting admission to higher education for our Cambridge International qualifications.
In addition, you will collaborate with our wider Europe Sales team, supporting attendance at Iberia and Europe-wide conferences and events. This role requires travel throughout the territory, and the ideal candidate will be an independent player able to manage their own work on a day-to-day basis, setting priorities and keeping CRM data up to date.
About You- You will have excellent knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese education systems and international education.
- You will be a native speaker (or C2) of one of the languages spoken in Iberia (Spanish, Portuguese), along with excellent proven English language skills (C1+).
- You will have the ability to develop ongoing relationships with customers at a senior level as well as with other stakeholders.
- You will possess proven business development experience in an education context.
- You will have attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring that schools receive a quick response to all correspondence.
- You will hold a driving licence and be experienced in organising local and international trips.
