About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will be part of our Life Sciences department, working on cutting-edge research projects in AI/ML and computational biology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists to advance our research goals.
  • Contribute to the development of research projects and publish research findings in top-tier journals.
  • Participate in technical meetings with internal and external collaborators, leading technical discussions and providing expertise.
  • Supervise junior researchers and provide mentorship in their career development.
  • Liaise with BSC support departments as needed to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, physics, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of scientific publication in the field.
  • At least 3 years of postdoctoral experience in AI/ML or computational biology.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or equivalent programming languages.
  • Experience with high-performance computing environments and life sciences research.
