Wind Energy Load Assessment Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting and managing load evaluation activities within service sales initiatives, specifically tailored load assessments for evaluating wind conditions utilizing advanced aero-elastic dynamic simulation software such as Bladed and/or approximation tools.
- Enhancing controller functionalities and collaborating on various component designs within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Compiling and documenting findings and evaluations in comprehensive technical reports.
- Assisting in service projects and project-related tasks in accordance with the Nordex project management framework.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of methodologies and toolsets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on dynamics and simulation or renewable energy.
- Professional experience in project management related to aerodynamic simulations.
- Proficient understanding of dynamic simulations of intricate systems in industrial applications using tools such as Bladed, Alaska, and HawcStab, along with expertise in fatigue analysis methodologies and structural dynamics.
- Additional experience with automation tools is a plus.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in English.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel as required.
