**Job Summary**
The Portfolio Manager will oversee the administration of reinsurance accounts and contracts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of contractual data, processing reinsurance accounts, and managing related cash flow. This role will support underwriters in all administrative activities related to the underwriting process.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Verify and process reinsurance accounts and claims advices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
- Manage cash flow, including processing outgoing and incoming payments, and follow up on pending payments and open balances.
- Perform Internal Control System (ICS) controls according to relevant guidelines, and support underwriters in the performance of these controls.
- Monitor client accounts and statistics using internal reports, and perform data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support underwriters with tailored reports and statistics, ensuring compliance with sanctions and embargos.
- Ensure the completeness and proper filing of underwriting and accounting documentation, and physical archiving where electronic signature is not permitted.
- Attend meetings and workshops with clients as required by underwriters, and participate in quarterly closings to contribute to pre-inventory tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to impact the lifecycle of a contract, including underwriting, claim experts, and closing.
**Requirements**
- Minimum 3 years of significant working experience in reinsurance accounting and underwriting assistance, or a related field.
- Advanced MS Office skills, analytical skills, and accuracy.
- Advanced communication and team collaboration skills.
