Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing legal documents, coordinating project intake and tracking, and maintaining project files and filing. This role will also involve supporting contract lifecycle management systems, coordinating with outside counsel, and assisting in drafting correspondence and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, amendments, and legal letters
  • Coordinate project intake and tracking, and maintain accurate project files and filing
  • Support contract lifecycle management systems and related uploads
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on specific assignments and review preliminary advice
  • Assist in drafting correspondence and contracts, including distribution agreements, sales agency agreements, and consultancy agreements
  • Support the execution of agreements, letters, and other documentation
  • Assist in-house legal counsel on business development projects, including mergers and acquisitions, distribution agreements, and co-partnership agreements
  • Review and analyze documents submitted to the legal department, cross-check and validate information
  • Organize and maintain accurate filing and archiving for all projects
  • Support uploading into Legisway agreements and related documents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be proficient in contract management systems and have a strong understanding of legal procedures and protocols.
