Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist Associate to join our Product organization. As a key member of our team, you will support data-driven decision-making and work on complex problems delivering insights on unique and interesting datasets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to measure product performance throughout the product development cycle.
  • Apply technical data skills (data science, statistics, coding/scripting) to produce strategic and tactical insights that aid product strategy, discovery, and planning.
  • Collaborate with product managers, applied scientists, engineers, and product improvement teams to define, measure, and communicate product metrics.
  • Ensure alignment in analytical delivery between Product, R&D, and BI Team.
  • Help and educate a diverse group of data users to utilize Onfido's tools and data assets.
Requirements
  • Last year of a Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics, etc.).
  • Fluency with Data Science standard technologies such as SQL, Python, and different BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.).
  • Be a self-starter who takes the initiative in spotting opportunities and finding ways to solve business problems using data.
  • Demonstrable technical experience using analytical tools, statistics, and data science techniques to build experiments, test hypotheses, and conduct analysis.
  • Ability to be creative and think outside the box.
